Why We Built This Site
Georgia generally permits public inspection of court records, subject to statutes, court rules, redaction, and sealing orders. Access can still be hard to route. Stacy K. Haralson, Clerk of Superior Court, keeps Superior Court filings for the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit in Harris County. Magistrate, Probate, and municipal clerks maintain separate dockets. Georgia has no single public case-search system that replaces all of those offices. The purpose here is to arrange the verified official channels in one clear reference, including the county's Icon link, PeachCourt routing, court calendars, telephone fallbacks, and copy options.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: locally researched instructions for criminal dockets and civil dockets
- Court dates: help reading the Harris County court calendar and confirming a setting
- Case lookups: official routes for a case search when a number or party name is available
- Record requests: ways to obtain court records, plain copies, or certified copies from the correct clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Georgia court, clerk, or government agency. Its role has firm limits:
- It cannot retrieve an official docket or case file for a visitor
- It cannot set, continue, cancel, or confirm a court appearance
- It cannot seal, remove, correct, or amend a court entry
- It cannot issue a certified copy, judgment, or court order
- It cannot provide legal advice about a case or deadline
- It cannot promise that a fee, office hour, or calendar entry has not changed
An official or certified record must come from the court or clerk that maintains the original file. Verify material directly with that office.
Search Partners
Some content pages contain search tools supplied by third parties. Those providers operate their own services and choose their own prices and result sets. A paid signup may produce a referral fee that supports the cost of this public reference. Harris County Court Docket does not set a provider's charges, control its records, or convert its result into an official court document.
